Cody Martz

Cody Allen Martz, age 35, was born on August 6, 1987, and passed on September 22, 2022. Beloved fiancé to Maria; loving father to Blake, and soon to be step-father to Zachary and Belle Rose; cherished son to Janice (the late Rohn); dearest brother to Craig (Danielle), Randy, Ron (Melissa); adored uncle to Brady, Brandon, Noah, Gabriella, Remington, Jadalynn, Kaden, Annalynne, and Elissyanah. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Richard, and his grandmother Joyce.

Cody was a very caring, tender, and loving man. If you would have had the privilege to have known Cody, you would have known he was always helping others. He would babysit his family and friends kids so they could go to work (or even so they could go out on date), he would change your brakes for you so you didn’t have to pay outrageous prices, he would call into work to help you move out of your house, he would come over after working a full time job to help you with home improvements, in high school he would carry someone’s books, and walk them to class. We could go on and on about all the wonderfully gracious things that he has done for others. He has impacted sooo many lives and been there for so many of us during life's struggles and darkest times. He was such a loving, tender, caring person who would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need.

He loved spending time with his family and friends, he loved music, he loved playing Pokémon go and Fortnite. He loved spending time outside from working in the yard (landscaping) to fishing, taking walks by the water, staying up late and star gazing, people watching, and more.
