Emma Schmitt, age 92 passed away at peacefully on September 4, 2017 at Cambridge Assisted Living Center in Madison Heights. Beloved mother of Ray, Trudy, Joe (Phen), Mike (Sara), and Chris. She will also be missed by her 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Emma was pre deceased by her husband Lenard and her children Mary, Theresa, Peter, Emmy and Lenard.
Emma belonged to the Sacred Heart Altar Society. She told great stories and was an artist. She will be missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. Visitation will be Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm at the Walter Scott Skupny Funeral Home, 28605 Gratiot Ave, Roseville, MI 48066. Emma will be in-state, Friday September 8, 9am followed by a 9:30am Mass celebration at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Church, 18720 13 Mile Road, Roseville. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
