Gail Ann Finley

Gail Ann Finley, born on April 25, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on May 20, 2026, at the age of 73, in Detroit, Michigan.

Gail was a woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished her time spent watching cooking and outdoor shows. The warmer months were her favorite, as they allowed her to be outside, embracing the beauty of the world around her.

A devoted grandmother, Gail took immense pride in attending her granddaughters' various competitions, cheering them on with unwavering support and love. Her passion for family extended to her enthusiasm for watching the Detroit Lions play, a tradition she enjoyed sharing with those close to her.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Finley, and her son, Keven Finley, Gail leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her children, David (Brenda) Finley, Crystal Finley, and Jennifer Finley; her grandchildren, Kaitlin, Devon, Mackenzie, Derek, Kylee, Zach, Aliana, Cody, Nicolas, Hayden, and Aniyah; and her great-grandchild, Sophie. Her sisters, Nancy (Donald) Ziegler and Carol (Ron) Perkins, also survive her, along with many dear friends and extended family members.

Gail's greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her warmth, kindness, and dedication to those she loved will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gail's memory to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association, organizations that reflect her caring spirit and commitment to helping others.
