Gary Granaas
Gary Granaas, age 65, passed away peacefully at his home, March 14, 2015. He is survived by his life partner "Neicey", children Gary, Robert (Brandi), Lorna and Candice. Also survived, by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He was predeceased by his wife Sharon.
Gary loved to go fishing on Lake St Clair and shared many stories about his fishing trips. One of his past times was spent watching "The Lord of the Rings" and he was very proud of his Norwegian Heritage with acquiring the nickname "The Norwegian Bull" . Gary loved his grandchildren more than anything and will be missed by all his family and friends who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 19, from 5 -9pm with 5-6pm reserved for Neicey's family at the Walter Scott Skupny Funeral Home, 28605 Gratiot, 2 blocks south of 12 mile, Roseville, with a eulogy at 6:30. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the family.
