Born on January 30, 1927, in Detroit, Michigan, Genevieve lived a long and fulfilling life marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and her cherished friendships.
She was the beloved wife of the late Dominic Zazula and a devoted mother to her late daughter, Karen Fleming. Genevieve is survived by her loving children, Donna (John Stewart) Baron, Kenneth (Suzanne Solar) Zazula, and Michael (Annisetta) Zazula. Her family continued to grow through her grandchildren: Monica, Adriana, Mikey, Matthew, Dominic, Zakary, Nikolas, Noah, and Ian, along with her treasured great-grandchildren, Juni and Pedro.
The impact Genevieve had on those around her was significant. She was known for her warmth, kindness, and the joyful spirit she brought to gatherings. Her family recalls her delightful stories, traditional recipes, and the love she poured into every celebration. Genevieve’s home was a welcoming place, full of laughter and cherished memories.
Visitation will be held on December 10, 2025, at Skupny Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Roseville, Michigan, beginning at 2:00 PM and concluding at 8:00 PM. The funeral service will follow the next day on December 11, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM, also at Skupny Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
