Gregory Hooper

Gregory Hooper, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away on July 26, 2023, in Warren, Michigan. He was born on September 13, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan. 

Gregory had a passion for building train sets. He spent countless hours meticulously assembling his model trains.  In addition to train sets, Gregory also had a love for collecting stamps and coins. To him, these tiny pieces of history held immense value and significance. His collection grew over the years and became a source of pride for Gregory. Gregory's love for the outdoors led him to develop an interest in hunting. He enjoyed spending time in nature, observing wildlife, and honing his skills as a hunter. 

Among those left behind mourning Gregory's passing is his devoted niece, Angela Ottinger.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Gayle Hooper, and by his parents, Alice Hopper and John Hooper.

He will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Interment will take place on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Amhurstburg, Ontario, Canada.
