James Cowden

James Arthur Cowden, age 87, was born on January 31, 1931 in Knoxville, Tennessee and passed away on January 5, 2019 at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit.. Dearest father to Valerie and Jimmy. He is also survived by his granddaughter Tiffany (John), great grandchildren Isabella and John Marco. James was predeceased by his wife Ida, brother Jack and sister Helen.

James loved to golf and won many tournaments. He loved to eat and went to watch his grandchildren at their swim meets. James will truly be missed by family and friends who knew and loved him.
