James Murphy, 88, died January 7. Husband of late Simone (Lemieux). Father of Gloria Gray and Ryan Murphy. Brother of Jack (Ollie) and late Elizabeth Johnson, Tommy, and Alex. Grandfather of Jeff (Monna), Michelle Gray and Jimi Murphy, Great-grandfather of Whitney Leverett and devoted Uncle. Jim served in the Merchant Navy during WWII, lived in Scotland, Canada, Michigan and Florida. He touched the lives of all he knew. Memorial service January 13 at St. Peter's Church in Mt. Clemens at 11am. . Funeral arrangements were handled by Walter Scott Skupny Funeral Home, Roseville.
