Krista Marie Sherwood

Krista Marie Sherwood AKA Larry Sherwood, born on August 6, 1958, in Belleville, Michigan, passed away on March 12, 2026, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, at the age of 67.

She found great joy in life and had a deep passion for baseball, especially her cherished Detroit Tigers. Her love for the game was only surpassed by the love she held for her family and friends.

She is survived by her devoted wife, Jackie Sherwood, who stood by her side through life's many adventures. Krista was a proud and loving mother to her son, Johnathan Sherwood, who carries forward her legacy of kindness and warmth.

Krista's memory will also be cherished by her siblings: Diane and Bob, June and Cliff, and Gary and Paula. They shared countless memories and supported each other throughout their lives.

Krista will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness, humor, and unwavering love.
