Mary Annette Salamango

Mary Annette Salamango, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, was born on May 7, 1944, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, and passed away on July 18, 2023 in Fraser Michigan.

Mary was a woman of many interests and hobbies. One of her greatest joys came from playing the piano alongside her sister-in-law Sharon Salamango. Their music filled the room with warmth and happiness. She also cherished spending time at metro beach with her husband Thomas listening to music, and enjoyed the thrill of visiting the casino with her sister-in-law Betty Salamango. Mary had a special bond with her friend Barb, whose companionship meant the world to her. Additionally, she found comfort in her daily visits to Kroger.

Family was paramount in Mary's life. She shared many cherished moments with her husband Thomas Salamango, her daughter Jeaninne (Dennis Johnson) Salamango who held a special place in her heart. Mary adored spending time with her grandchildren Tyler Trombley, Cory Strange, Cole Strange, and Ava Johnson, and her brother Mark Hentrich. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas Salamango and brother Michael Hentrich who resided in Florida.

Mary Annette Salamango leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and warmth.  She will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to family and friends as well as for the beautiful music that flowed from her fingertips.
