Melvin Thomas

Melvin Joseph Thomas, age 75, was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 11, 1946, and passed away in Troy, Michigan on September 22, 2021. Beloved husband to Denise Bowie. Loving father to Brian (Christy) Thomas and Theresa (Ray) Aldrich. Treasured grandfather to Austin Thomas, Aubry Thomas, Andrew Thomas, Piper Aldrich, and Mallory Aldrich. Proud and adored great grandfather to Violet Morton and Luke Gray. Dearest brother to Janis Piekacz. He was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Mildred Thomas and brothers Russell Thomas and Carly Thomas.

Melvin was passionate about classic cars, especially hot rods. He enjoyed long walks through nature, traveling, and camping. He also loved chocolate chip cookies and spending time with his grandchildren. Melvin will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
