Michael Scott Karol

Michael Scott Karol passed away on January 18, 2024. Born on July 8, 1976, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to parents Dennis and Patricia Karol.

With a remarkable tenure of two decades as a master electrician, Michael's expertise was highly regarded by all who had the pleasure of working with him. His commitment to excellence was evident in every project undertook (especially his coffered ceiling), leaving behind a legacy of exceptional craftsmanship. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Michael was a man of many interests and passions. As an avid bass fisherman who loved fishing on his boat. Whether it was casting his line at dawn or waiting patiently for that tug on the line, Michael's passion for fishing brought him immeasurable joy. Michael also held a devotion to Detroit sports. A huge fan of the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions, he would eagerly engage in spirited debates with friends and family. In his spare time, he also loved playing rummy and euchre with friends, and listening to Chris Stapleton, Snoop Dogg, Garth Brooks and Queen.

In addition to his professional pursuits and hobbies, Michael cherished the company of those closest to him. He shared a profound bond with his wife Raychel, who stood beside him through life's triumphs and challenges alike. 

Michael leaves behind his wife Raychel; his son Dylan; sister Michele (Mohammed); Parents -in-law, Raymond and Cheryl Galba, Sister-in-law Kristina (Jeff); Nephews and Nieces, Ali, Ahmed, Aliya, Ben, Amir, Amilia; Aunts, Gail Jach and Tami Galba; Uncle, Wally Galba, many cousins, as well as Cooper, his furry companion who brought immeasurable joy and a constant source of love and comfort to Michael's life. Michael has been preceded in death by his loving parents, Dennis and Patricia Karol; Grandmas, Bernice Karol and Immaculata Galba; Uncle, Greg Jach; and Aunt, Diane Galba.

The memory of Michael Scott Karol will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His dedication to his craft, his love for family and friends, and his vibrant presence will forever be cherished.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at later date.
