We will always remember our dear Mike smiling and laughing, glancing over his shoulder with the biggest, bluest eyes.
Michael “Mike” Sean Schmitt passed away in his home in Holt, MI on June 3, 2026. Mike was a big kid at heart with an incredible love of animals, nature, music, and gaming. He was a protective and kind big brother, fun uncle, and friend to many.
Mike is predeceased by his mother Sara. He is survived by his father Michael Schmitt; his siblings, Colleen Cole (David), Daniel Schmitt (Lisa), Katie Combs (Jason), and Rachel Schmitt; his nephews, Liam, Kieran, and Benjamin. Along with his many cousins who remained his lifelong friends.
Mike- keep traveling the cosmos.
