Noreen Bellamy

Noreen Lasigne Bellamy, age 53, born to Marion Hollowell Bowlson and Preston Wade II on February 27, 1967 passed away peacefully on January 14, 2021 at 3:06 AM in Royal Oak MI.

Noreen was raised in Detroit where she graduated from Mackenzie High School. And then attended Saginaw Valley University for Accounting. Noreen and Dartanyon met in 2001 and took their vows of marriage on August 18, 2007. Through this union, was born Darnaysia Le’Chelle Bellamy. Their blended family also consisted of Terrance Washington II, Jhermanei Washington and De’Shawnte Alexander making their family complete. As a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and auntie she loved spending time with her family and enjoyed all holidays.

She was always an early riser who swore by the motto, “if I am up everybody got to be up.” She enjoyed the outdoors, going for walks or relaxing on the porch with a “beverage”, going down to Belle Ilse in the middle of the night to feed the deer’s, music and being on the internet. She would just hop in the car to drive to Cleveland to hang out with her mother-in-law for the day, she enjoyed making fun of her kids and husband. She was very witty.

Noreen is survived by her husband Dartanyon James Bellamy, children Terrance Dewitt Washington II, Jhermanei Washington, stepson De’Shawnte Alexander and Darnaysia Bellamy; grandchildren Darletta, Esme, Cale, Kayleigh and Isabella; Mother Marion Hollowell Bowlson; Sister LaSonya Wade, Brothers Preston Wade III, Mason Wade and Deron Wade, Aunt Arlice Strong, Mother-in-law Christine Bellamy, Sister-in-law Michelle Bellamy, Aunt-in-law Emma Jo Hart. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

She was proceeded in death by her Father Preston Wade II, Stepfather Cephus Bowlson Jr, Aunt Edith O’Neal, Uncle Cleo “Chico” Hollowell Jr., Aunt Sandra Hicks, Cousin Marlene “Kim” Hollowell, and Grandson Terrance Washington III. Please share memories with the family at their "On-Line Tribute Wall" at skupnyfuneralhome.com.
